What does an occupational therapist do?
A pediatric occupational therapist helps children master their fine motor and feeding skills. They may work on handwriting, upper extremity strengthening and range of motion, activities of daily living, and neurodevelopmental exercises. They typically are the therapists that do therapeutic listening, interactive metronome, sensory integration, and oral motor stimulation.
